Herrons Country Fried Chicken opened its first ever restaurant in April of 1977 in Newcastle, County Down. Since then we have grown, and keep to growing to be the largest restaurant and take-away chain in Northern Ireland with over 15 locations across the Province. Herrons Country Fried Chicken builds it's success on a winning formula - tasty menu, fair prices with a super service. Newcastle has always had a demand for tasty chicken, Herrons has met that demand with its superb menu. We have duplicated this great tasting menu throughout Northern Ireland. In 1977 our Newcastle restaurant had just a few full time and several part-time staff. We now employ over 150 people throughout the the Province.
